Satah produced water treatment project

Challenge

Located on Zirku Island, the Produced Water Treatment Project is designed to process 22000 bpd of Produced Water with solids, oil and, H2S content of 500 mg/l, 2000 ppm (vol/vol) and 2000 ppm (mol/mol) respectively. The package is designed to reduce the solids, oil and, H2S content to less than 25 mg/l, 50 ppm (vol/vol) and 100 ppm (mol/mol) respectively to prepare the produced water for reinjection. Our task was to ensure the safe and efficient development of the project facilities on time and budget by providing seamless project management.

Services

Project Management Services covering the management and supervision of EPC implementation of the project covering design, procurement, construction and commissioning supervision.

Solution

A multidisciplinary task force was set-up under the control of the PMS Project Manager to interface with the client project management team throughout the EPC implementation stage.

Result

The solids, oil and, H2S content treatment targets were fully achieved and the plant was completed in February 2014.
