Development of a Risk Based Inspection Scheme

Challenge

To review and update the existing Risk Based Inspection (RBI) scheme for pipelines system and incorporate the recently commissioned Water Injection (WI) pipeline.

Services

Revise the RBI scheme, to capture the findings of recent inspection and maintenance activities, and to incorporate the new WI pipeline.

The RBI scheme will provide an optimised inspection plan that will contribute to the control of risk wtihin the system and will be aligned with the existing inspection schedule for the FPSO and associated subsea infrastructure.

Solution

The design data of the recently commissioned pipeline and inspection/maintenance data of  production/gas lift pipeline since 2016 was reviewed and analysed.

Result

The risk profile and inspection schedule were developed for the pipeline and updated for production and gas lift pipelines.
